So, why Merci Mama (pronounced with a French accent), you ask?

I suppose it’s a bit of a dedication to my mum who is far and away the best cook I know.

Like me, food was always on her mind. It was her amazing skills in the kitchen that always brought our big family together. I have such great memories of her whipping up three course dinners every night and having the crazy ability to exactly recreate dishes she had eaten in restaurants and often improve on them! Unfortunately she’s no longer here to dazzle everyone with her kitchen prowess but when I’m in the kitchen, I feel connected to her.
